2014 Cadillac ATS

As Cadillac’s CTS continued to increase in size, they slowly abandoned the smaller luxury sedan market, leaving the door open for the creation of the ATS. Planned for the BMW-3 series/Mercedes C-Class market the ATS is based on the Alpha platform. The ATS was available starting with a 2.5-Liter four-cylinder engine, which included a turbocharged option. A long wheel base ATS dubbed ATS-L was built for the Chinese market in 2014, and an ATS coupe made its debut in 2015. A performance variant is available called ATS-V. While over 38,000 ATS sedans were built in 2013, by 2017 production had tanked to barely 13.000 units, leading to speculation that the ATS may be discontinued at some point by 2020.

2014 ATS

Very minor changes were deemed necessary for 2014, which included automatically dimming high-beam headlights, an extra outlet for the rear console, and a unique steering wheel for cars equipped with the paddle shift option.
