These lights from Oracle are the only DOT Compliant “Street Legal” LED Headlight Conversion Available. FIRST 6-Volt Daytime Running Light Compatible LED Bulb Available. LED Bulb features Precision Filament Geometry for no-Glare Illumination. No Fan, Heat-Sink, or other obstructing/ cumbersome cooling system. Physically matches original bulb for OEM fitment and easy DIY installation. The V-Series bulbs feature Flip-Chip Scale LED packaging. The advantages of flip-chip technology are multiple: it provides enhanced electrical performance over standard wirebond technology, allows for a smaller form factor due to increased routing density, and eliminates wire-bond loops. V-Series LED bulbs offer even more compatibility by working with vehicles that use the headlight bulb for the DRL function at a reduced voltage. The class-leading 6-32V ultra-wide range voltage protection will allow these LED bulbs to be used in Daytime Running Light Applications without common flicker issues. The V-Series bulb will dim to 50% brightness in DRL mode just like the factory halogen bulb. LED Headlight bulbs have relied on passive thermal management systems such as large heat sinks, metal ribbons, or loud cooling fans. These methods can be unreliable and almost always make the installation process more difficult and time consuming for the installer. ORACLE Lighting’s new V-Series bulbs feature our SmartDrive™ Active Thermal Regulation (ATR) temperature management. The integrated constant current linear LED driver inside the bulb uses a system called “thermal foldback” to protect the LEDs and the bulb components. S3: ORACLE Lighting S3 LED Conversion Bulbs Instantly provide 3200 Lumens of Crystal Clear 6000K light output. The electronic components of the S3 Headlight bulbs are housed in a sealed waterproof heat-sink design, eliminating the need for external drivers and cooling fans. The CSP (Chip Scale Package) LED Chip Design features a small package size but high intensity volume per unit with less heat value resulting in industry-leading Luminous Efficacy (science talk for “Best Bang for your Buck”). This new low-profile design reduces common bulb fitment issues for an easy Plug & Play DIY installation. High Output: These new high-output LED Headlight bulbs create a 4,000+ Lm blanket of light for the driver to increase safety and nighttime visibility. Philips Luxeon ZES chips allow for the increased Lumen output while still drawing less than half the power of the factory headlight bulb. These smaller chips also have excellent heat dissipation characteristics, making them extremely reliable even in harsh environments. The new internal driver components were designed by Samsung and offer excellent performance in a smaller package. The new adjustable heat sink makes fitment issues a thing of the past since it is removable to reverse install or mount outside the headlight back-cap for added adaptability.
