Flywheel and Flexplate bolts are an important bolt with regards to vehicle performance and safety. ARP manufactures the highest quality flywheel/flexplate bolts on the market due to their attention in using outstanding materials and paying attention to the littlest details in manufacturing. The "High-Performance" series of flywheel/flexplate bolts are made from 8740 chromoly steel and heat-treated so that they have a tensile strength in the 180,000 psi range—much stronger than factory bolts. The ARP "Pro Series" are made from premium-grade steel and heat-treated in-house to a 200,000 psi tensile strength with precision-rolled J-threads after heat-treatment.
