Selected as the Indy Indianapolis 500 Pace Car Festival Car Parade Car. Emissaries of the Indy Race, General Motors, Hurst Olds and others were provided a car for use during the multi-day celebrations. These were the pace car Festival & Parade Cars, and of course, served during the festivities surrounding the big race. All Pace Car Festival Cars used two decals you see here on their quarter panels. These decals are equally OEM-correct for restoration of all Indy 500 Pace Car commemorative editions and replicas. This is the correct decal used during the 1969-75 Indy “500” Festivals.
