Prep Fluid, Evans, 1936-19 GM, Waterless Coolant
ADDED TO YOUR WISHLIST!
Evans Coolant and Prep Fluids are engineered specifically for use in a waterless cooling system. Evans high performance waterless coolant is for all gasoline and light duty diesel engines used in classic to modern production cars. This coolant offers unbeatable protection against corrosion, electrolysis and protection for the life of your engine. It protects up to -40° as well as a boiling point of 375°, will not vaporize which eliminates boil-over and will generate very low vapor pressures reducing stress on engine cooling systems. When converting to a waterless cooling system the Prep Fluid is designed to purge the cooling system of water-based antifreeze after draining the cooling system, and before installing new waterless coolant. Prep Fluid should be used when block drains are unavailable or cannot be removed. It is not a substitute for thoroughly draining the cooling system and related components. Prep Fluid is NOT intended to be a stand-alone operating coolant, but as a flush fluid only. Evans also offers a cooling Refractometer that is designed to accurately test for residual water content. By determining the water content you'll be able to safely set up your cooling system with Evans Cooling products. A fast, simple optical method that requires only one drop of coolant to compare the optical reading to water content chart. Evans Refractometer is pre-calibrated for accuracy and consistency.
