Volant air intake systems utilize a high-velocity venturi filter adapter which provides a smooth transition through the MAF sensor into the intake tube for a much needed airflow improvement over the factory rubber tubing and resonator box. While factory air inlet ducts use sound baffles and bends which restrict flow, Volant Cross-Link polyethylene air ducts are sculptured to give the engine less restrictive breathing. Incorporating larger diameters and unique bends that cant be duplicated with metal ducts allow maximum airflow velocity and improved throttle response. This model includes a Pro-5 filter which can be reoiled every 10,000 miles along with full cleaning and recharge service at every 50,000 miles with cleaning kit VO05100 sold separately.
