SEAL BEACH, CA - The Original Parts Group 1972 Chevelle SS is complete and ready for Vegas. It will be on display in the OPGI booth (#24187) at the 2011 SEMA show. The '72 underwent a full frame-off restoration at JH Restoration in Riverside, California. Joel and crew tore it down, media-blasted it and went to work installing new quarter panels, trunk pan, hood and fenders. Then it was off to Starside Design for body and paint work. Doug Starbuck of Starside applied the stock placer gold paint and topped it off with black SS stripes. Back at JH, the re-assembly continued with hundred of new parts from OPGI. Sean Murphy of SMI Carburetors supplied a re-worked Holley® 750 carburetor and Ron Mangus Interiors installed the new convertible top.
ADDISON, IL - The Raybestos '64 GTO built by Kevin Tully & crew at Hot Rod Chassis & Cycle will be on display in the Original Parts Group booth (#24187) in November at the Specialty Equipment Market Association (SEMA) show in Las Vegas. The GTO features a long list of parts from OPGI, including sheetmetal, trim, moldings, emblems, door handles, door hinges, lenses, sill plates and more.
